Our mission started in 2011 when a handful of veterans who had redeployed from Afghanistan and Iraq found themselves struggling with reintegrating into “normal” life.
The group opted to head out into the untamed wilds of the western US where they found an environment where they once again experienced camaraderie, teamwork and mission focus while overcoming physical and mental challenges.

Fox Bravo Overland is a charitable, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting veterans, first responders, and service members through overland expeditions, specialized training programs, and community-building initiatives.
Mission
FBO ensures that every participant has an opportunity to participate at little or no cost to them. By fostering a safe, welcoming environment, FBO helps participants reconnect with a sense of camaraderie and kinship while also encouraging personal growth, peer mentorship, and long-term support..
Vision
FBO envisions a future where veterans, first responders, and service members have access to a nationwide network of supportive communities. Through our programs, we aim to empower individuals to become leaders and mentors, using their skills and experiences to positively impact their own lives and the lives of others.
Teammates
FBO identifies program participants through outreach within other veterans and service organizations, corporate veterans’ programs, social media channels and through alumni networking.
Alumni
FBO alumni include veterans from all branches of the armed and other federal services; federal, state and local law enforcement; and emergency response services. This group includes men, women, and people of various racial backgrounds and various levels of disability.
